When I rolled out Windows 7 I used Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Back in the Windows XP days, that is the method I used only I did not incude the applications, just the OS and drivers.
The downside to this approach is the captured image has to be deployed to identical hardware. Then I would take a look at your deployment method. It looks like you are setting up a reference computer with all the software, running sysprep, capturing the image, and then deploying the captured image to another computer. If all your workstations are identical I would recommend that you also do volume licensing on the WIndows OS.Īfter you have fixed your licensing problem.
If you are installing that license to multiple computers, you are definitely not in compliance. If I read your post correctly, you purchased a signal Office license with SA. OEM and retail licenses cannot be installed as part of an image. First thing you will need to do is deal with your licensing.
